The short version
We don't set any cookies until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Reject, no cookies are set and every calculator continues to work normally. Your choice is stored in localStorage, not a cookie.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. They can store preferences, track behavior across pages, or enable functionality. Different cookies have different purposes, some are essential, some are optional.
2. Cookies we use

3. localStorage
We store one item in your browser's localStorage:
consent: stores your cookie banner choice (accepted, rejected, ordismissed) so we don't ask again.
This is not a cookie and is not transmitted to any server. Clear it via your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data.
4. How to manage cookies
- This site: use the cookie banner to accept or reject. To change your choice later, clear site data and reload.
- Google Analytics: install the opt-out browser add-on.
- Google Ads: visit Google Ads Settings to manage ad personalization.
- All cookies: use your browser's cookie controls (typically under Settings → Privacy).
5. Do Not Track
This site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because there's no industry consensus on how to interpret them. Use the cookie banner to opt out instead, it's enforced.
6. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. If a new cookie category is introduced, the banner will re-prompt for consent.
