The short version
ServerCalc is a static website. There is no user registration, no database storing your inputs, no contact form, and no email collection. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser.
The only data we collect is anonymous usage analytics through Google Analytics, and we may serve advertisements via Google Ads. Both can be declined via the cookie banner.
1. Who we are
This site, ServerCalc, is operated by an independent publisher providing free server and data center calculators. We're not a company, not VC-backed, and don't sell data. You can reach us through the contact information on the About page.
2. Information we collect
2.1 What we DO collect
- Analytics data via Google Analytics 4: anonymized page views, approximate country/city, device type, referring URL, time on page. This helps us understand which calculators are useful and which to improve.
- Ad-related data via Google Ads / AdSense (if and when enabled): cookies used for ad personalization and frequency capping.
2.2 What we DO NOT collect
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifying information.
- Calculator inputs (server models, CPU and memory counts, tariffs, utilization), these live only in your browser.
- Account credentials, there are no accounts.
- Payment information, the site is free; nothing is sold.

- No cookies are set until you accept via the cookie banner.
- If you accept: Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies are set.
- If you reject: nothing is set, and you can continue using every calculator.
- Your choice is stored in
localStorageon your device.
4. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic. Google may use the data per their own privacy policy. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to block GA across all sites, or simply reject cookies on this site.
We do not enable Google Signals, demographics, or advertising features on our GA property.
5. Google Ads / AdSense
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense or other ad networks. These networks may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
6. Third-party services
- Cloudflare (hosting/CDN), sees IP addresses for routing. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies.
- Google Fonts, the Inter font is loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the request.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we don't collect personal data, most data-subject rights don't apply. For Google Analytics' processing of your data, exercise your rights through Google directly using the links above. You can also:
- Reject all cookies via our cookie banner.
- Clear your browser cookies and
localStorageat any time. - Use private/incognito mode for zero persistence.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
